Revisions
This is one of those almost entirely subjective issues and let me explain why. I do not enforce any limits per se on how many revisions you have.
It’s my job, my responsibility, both as a professional and as an artist who takes his work personally to see you get what you need. I want to make sure it’s good and befitting to your company and industry. If I get you a first design and for whatever reason it missed the mark completely? I will…re-do it after we talk and settle on a more finite direction.
It’s very rare for that to happen mid you but IF it does – relax, I will end up re-approaching it. What I find, is this; 99% of my clients ask for the “usual” amount of revisions; lighten the background, use a different picture, get rid of two of the call-outs you used, space out that text a little more and so on.
To the opposite end of the spectrum, I have had clients in the past that used my policy (if you can call it that) to their advantage…and then some. Once the amount of changes passes a certain point and walks the fine line of being ridiculous, unreasonable and they’re never going to make up their mind – I will assert myself at that point and we’ll assess the situation and arrive at a new goal.
